SLU-Madrid Job Opportunities - Faculty


Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, invites applications for a twelve-month full-time entry-level faculty position in marketing, beginning fall 2021. Possible fields of interest include but are not limited to marketing analytics, consumer behavior, and marketing research. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to undergraduate teaching and be actively engaged in research.

The teaching responsibility is 6 undergraduate courses (18 credits) per year. Candidates should have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and willingness to engage in advising and service to develop our small, dynamic Department and Campus programs, and particularly to our recently created major program in Marketing. Additionally, the candidate is expected to conduct world-class research, be able to attract external research funds, and build a diverse research team in collaboration with business and university partners.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Marketing prior the appointment, have demonstrated teaching excellence, have generated intellectual contributions in their primary teaching discipline as demonstrated by activity that generates publications in leading peer reviewed journals (including JCR indexed publications). Legal permission to work in Spain is essential. Teaching experience in marketing with diverse student populations, and knowledge of Spanish are helpful.

  • Part-time teaching position in the Division of Science and Engineering
The Madrid (Spain) Campus of Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution, dedicated to student learning, research, service and healthcare, is seeking applicants for a part-time position in the Division of Science and Engineering at the Madrid campus to begin in September 2020. Interested applicants should have a valid work permit in Spain.

The successful candidate will hold a Master or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, along with evidence of research and teaching excellence. The position requires demonstrated experience in teaching university courses at undergraduate level. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in teaching digital electronics courses.
